Holiday Homes Tour
December 7 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Mark your calendar for Saturday, December 7th to enjoy one of Washington’s most anticipated winter events. More than just an open house, the 19th annual Christmas Tour of Homes takes you inside some of Washington’s loveliest homes for the first time, aglow in holiday splendor.
This self-guided tour affords tour-goers an inside look at the wide range of neighborhood character found in Washington — from charming cottages to Victorian homes in the Historic Downtown, to contemporary additions to Washington’s lovely and scenic waterfront neighborhoods. The Christmas Home Tour celebrates the diverse and stunning architecture of the many beautiful, unique Washington homes. Each home on the tour adds to the charm of the neighborhood as it reflects the eclectic lifestyle of Beaufort County. This year the tour includes The Rich Company showing an extensive display of Nutcrackers and offering cider and cookies; followed by 9 homes never seen.
Guests can visit the homes at their leisure from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm. Tickets are available $20 cash or check at the Arts of the Pamlico’s Historic Turnage Theatre, the Beaufort County Chamber of Commerce at 102 W Stewart Parkway, Little Shoppes & South Market Antiques at 223 W. Main St or The Rich Company at 1468 Carolina Ave; $20 cash, $22 with a credit card at AOP or PayPal and $25 cash only the day of the event. Visitors will be able show their ticket to take advantage of a variety of lunch specials and discounts at participating local restaurants and shops. The ticket purchase will also enter the guests’ names in a drawing for a beautiful basket full of goodies valued at $250+.
The Arts of the Pamlico (AOP) is the presenter and beneficiary of the tour. AOP is the region’s arts council providing a vibrant menu of arts and cultural events in the Historic Turnage Theatre and across Beaufort and Washington counties. AOP welcomes the public to usher in their holiday season with this unique opportunity for a firsthand look into Washington’s homes, decked out and sparkling with holiday warmth and charm, while also supporting the arts council.
