The 5K Pirate Run/Walk benefits Bath High School Preservation (a non-profit 501(c) 3 corporation) in its mission to restore the former Bath High School complex by rehabilitating it and having it once again serve the business, cultural and educational needs of the extended community.

Timing & scoring provided by Run The East. Achieve your personal best on our USATF certified course. Course takes full advantage of the quaint, scenic and historic Town of Bath, home of Blackbeard the Pirate, and the views along the waters of Bath Creek. The course begins at the Bath Elem. School, 110 S. King Street and continues down Craven and Carteret, through Springdale Village, down Main past the historic sites and houses, and along the scenic waterfront of Bonner’s Point before finishing back at King Street. The course is flat and partially shaded.

Awards to overall M/F winners (Gold, Silver, Bronze) and to top three M/F in each age group. Enter our “RUN FOR THE BOOTY” contest and win a prize valued at $200! Just help raise money and collect at least $150 for BHSP cause (prize goes to person collecting most over $150 … tiebreaker by name draw). Great goodie bags too!
